The YMCA offers a wonderful opportunity to work with different types of people. Everyone is beyond friendly to each other and we all get along so well because we all have the same end goal of just being able to make a difference in someones life even if it means doing something small. We all get along and do our best to have a fun. Obviously some days are harder than others, there were a few times where I had to come earlier or stay later to assist in problems that we had that day but at the end of the day its all rewarding. The fact that my boss took me having another job into consideration and let me come in at anytime i was available was amazingly kind of her because she didn't have to do that.  The YMCA has given me a sense of community and a fun environment to work with a company that brings so much joy into other peoples lives. And as I said before, everyone should have a chance to volunteer, work, or even just talk to someone who works at the Y because the YMCA is just a fantastic place that brings people together.
